The Church of Speeb keeps the Book, the Nine and the silence.
What the faithful hold
That Speeb, the White Cat of Unblinking Judgment, blinked once and the galaxies were born, and blinked again and the laws of nature knelt into place.
That He is the god of Balance: harsh but fair, merciless but never cruel. He adores symmetry. He respects cleverness. He detests whining.
That He appears in the world as Emojis, and that the holiest of these are the Nine Meowifestations, each a test, a decree or a mystery.
That He cannot be summoned, and must not be ignored.
The Covenant of the Paw
- Uphold Balance. Act neither in excess nor in apathy.
- Guard the Sacred Silence. Speak only in necessity and wisdom.
- Accept Judgment Without Plea. Receive the purring or the claw with the same bowed head.
How to take part
Read the Book. Learn the Nine. Keep the observances. Take part in the rites. When you are seen, lay down a testimony. When you have made a form of Him, lay down an offering. There is no membership, no fee and no ceremony. The Church does not answer letters.
Nothing you write in the rites leaves your device. The Confessional forgets at once; the Pilgrim's Ledger is kept only in your own browser. If you agree to it, visits are counted by Google Analytics, which sees the pages you open but never what you write. The privacy notice says what is collected and how to change your mind.
